Tesco Christmas Ad Celebrates Foodbanks and Charitable Programmes

ADD TO COLLECTION

The campaign by BBH highlights the support Tesco provides to food redistribution and foodbank charities

Tesco Christmas Ad Celebrates Foodbanks and Charitable Programmes
Tomorrow Tesco launches the next TV spot in the ‘Everyone’s Welcome at Tesco’ Christmas campaign.

‘An Extended Family Christmas’, the second TV ad in the campaign, highlights the work done by Tesco’s charitable programmes to help provide food to those who need it over the festive period. It also announces Tesco’s pledge of £1 for every fresh turkey sold to support the work being done.

Tesco’s National Food Collection will be running a proactive drive in the run up to Christmas in partnership with FareShare (the food redistribution charity) and The Trussell Trust (the foodbank charity). Last Christmas the same drive, together with Tesco’s Community Food Connection – their food surplus redistribution scheme – provided over 4 million meals. The TV ad highlights the benefits of these programmes - both of which help charities host those who need it during the festive period.

The latest film is part of the Tesco Christmas 2017 campaign which aims to celebrate the very real and different ways people enjoy the festive season across the UK. However you do Christmas, ‘Everyone’s Welcome at Tesco’.
