The dog ate my homework is no excuse to miss Teachers, a hilarious web series created by Chicago based comedy group The Katydids and director Matt Miller.
Teachers is a series of funny vignettes that follows the lives of six quirky elementary school teachers who deal with their personal lives in the classroom. In Episode 1, 3rd grade teacher Catherine Feldman spends her class time trying to solve the mystery of what happened to singer/songwriter Seal's face and in Episode 4, Caroline Watson discusses her recent break-up during story time.
The 24 episode series is being released over a seven week period between November 7 and December 26, 2012 on www.teacherswebseries.com. Some of the notable guest stars include Saturday Night Live feature player Cecily Strong and Second City actors Bruce Jarchow, Nancy McCabe, and Aaron Walters.
Teachers was written and performed by the all female ensemble of The Katydids, Directed by Matt Miller, and Edited by Tim Warmanen of Whitehouse Post. Executive Producer, Matt Abramson of Cap Gun Collective says of the project "When Matt Miller approached us, we got excited right away, but once we read the materials and looked at the Katydids body of work, getting involved was a very easy decision."
