Damasia will be responsible for strengthening TBWA's strategic partnerships
TBWA\Worldwide today announced that Damasia Merbilhaa has been elevated to the newly created role of VP, Growth and Operations, for the agency’s Latin America region, which includes offices across 18 countries. Working closely with LatAm agency presidents and the global leadership team, she will be responsible for strengthening TBWA's strategic partnerships, driving new business and organic growth, and fostering Omnicom partner relationships throughout the region.

Merbilhaa has worked across several offices and marquee global and local clients, and has helped to secure key new business wins across several offices in the Americas. A native of Argentina, she began her tenure at TBWA\Buenos Aires, holding both marketing communications and digital strategy positions before relocating to Miami in 2012 to take on a regional strategy role. She also spent time at TBWA\Chiat\Day New York as an Integrated Strategy Director prior to joining TBWA’s Worldwide team as Regional Brand Director for Latin America. 

“Latin America has some of the most creative and innovative thinkers in the world,” said Merbilhaa. “There is so much this region can bring to advertising and to the creative economy as a whole.
