Move marks a return to Singapore after a two-year stint at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA
TBWA\Singapore confirms Cyril Bedat has been appointed director; regional client partner and innovation. Cyril returns to TBWA\Singapore after a two-year stint at TBWA\Chiat Day, Los Angeles, where he managed the global QuickBooks portfolio. Cyril was global business director. 

Commenting on Cyril’s appointment Ara Hampartsoumian, managing director TBWA\Singapore said: “TBWA\Singapore is going through a mini revolution, reshaping the way we work and operate to remain ahead of the external market pressures that are challenging our industry. As we remain committed to securing a greater share of the future for our clients and ourselves, we also remain committed to bringing on board talent who enable us to meet this ambition. 

“Having had the opportunity to work across markets, deepen his knowledge and experience out of LA, we’re delighted to welcome Cyril back to the Collective.”

With immediate effect, Cyril joins the team and will work closely with Ara Hampartsoumian, managing director of TBWA\Singapore, Leigh Arbon, head of digital and Toby Thurston, head of technology, to continue to drive growth and innovation.  

In addition to Cyril’s appointment, TBWA\Asia confirms Tuomas Peltoniemi, president of Digital Arts Network and innovation director leaves the Collective to join R\GA as executive vice president, managing director for APAC.

Said Ian Pearman, president TBWA\Asia: “It is with thanks and our best wishes to Tuomas as he leaves the Collective. Tuomas joined TBWA\Asia with the responsibility to deepen our digital and innovative capabilities, and now leaves having helped establish one of the leading agencies in the region.
