Since March the 12th, the new advertising campaign for INTERCITÉS can take you on an intergalactic journey to promote their very low prices - prices that can take you further than you think even for 15€. This multichannel campaign combines a futuristic fantasy universe with a traditional promotional message.
INTERCITÉS is a train offer of SNCF – the French railway company. It’s the best solution to travel everywhere in France as it covers the entire territory with more than 200 destinations. The brand usually communicates in March to promote its very low prices.
TBWA\Paris helms this campaign with brand new illustrations inspired directly by science-fiction. Four visuals have been created to illustrate the INTERCITÉS destinations: town, countryside, seaside, and a departure scene in front of a train station.
Two illustrators have worked on the visuals: Wenyi Geng has always been inspired by mangas and iconic artists such as Moebius and Matsumoto Taiyou. Olivier Bonhomme works either on comic books, artistic direction for video games or travel diaries. The campaign will be displayed outdoors, on the radio and online.
