Korea’s #1 vermin extermination company Cesco has awarded its creative and media business to TBWA\Korea.
TBWA\Korea’s appointment follows two competitive pitches against Korea’s Top 4 agencies, including incumbent HS Ad and Cheil Worldwide, Innocean, HS Ad, and SK M&C.
Cecso has provided extensive extermination services in Korea for over 35 years with 2,200 pest control systems and is the only extermination company with vermin technology research laboratories.
Cesco has recently introduced ‘Free Diagnosis Services’ to attract individuals and private businesses to become members. Cesco plan to bolster communication strategies to increase actual calls through ‘Free Diagnosis Services’ and tap into the majority of the population that currently do not have membership with Cesco.
TBWA\Korea has devised a campaign to target stubborn non-members who, despite being aware of Cesco and their services, remain ambivalent to joining. The new approach will encourage the ‘need for diagnosis by professionals’ based on factual information rather than a threatening approach on the horrors of vermin.
The new campaign will launch in June and the budget is undisclosed.
