Ian Thubron, President of TBWA\Greater China, today announced the appointment of Milo Chao as Chief Strategy Officer for TBWA\China.
Based in Shanghai, Chao will provide strategic leadership for TBWA, Digital Arts Network, The Integer Group®, Auditoire and BEING.
Chao, who previously worked at DDB, Rapp Collins and Grey, has a long and highly regarded career having worked in New York, Dallas, Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo and Shanghai on clients as diverse as Dell, Sony, Toyota, Mars, Philips, Unilever and PepsiCo.
Thubron commented, “We are delighted to welcome Milo into the TBWA fold. He brings a strategic rigour as well as a familiarity and capability with the entire integrated process. He will join our global ring of planning leaders as the champion of Disruption in this critical region.”

Chao’s appointment is effective immediately.
