TBWA\Chiat\Day New York today announced a slew of creative hires at the agency, marking the first appointments under the leadership of new Chief Creative Officer Chris Garbutt, and following a string of successful new business wins in 2015.  The agency has welcomed Michelle Spivak as Creative Director and Josh Yeston as Associate Creative Director, along with senior creatives Cecile Pimont, Pieyre-Alexandre Treuil, Liz Agans and Mike Schneberg.

“2015 was an incredible year for our business, and now, we’re focused on making 2016 all about the creative product,” said Garbutt. “I’m thrilled to welcome these diverse and incredibly talented teams to ramp up our department and to push us – and our clients – to new creative heights.”

Michelle Spivak has joined TBWA from Code + Theory, where she was a Creative Director working on Chandon, 7UP, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire, Mott's, Snapple, and Dr Pepper accounts. No stranger to the TBWA family, Michelle also spent nearly three years at TBWA\Toronto where she worked on the Infiniti and Nissan businesses.

Cecile Pimont and Pieyre-Alexandre Treuil have joined the agency as Senior Copywriter and Senior Art Director from AKQA in Portland, where they worked on the Nike business, including Nike ID and Nike Global Football. Prior to AKQA, Cecile was a copywriter with CLM BBDO in Paris, where she worked on the M&M, Mercedes and Pepsi accounts, and was part of the award-winning team behind “A Trip Out to Sea” interactive film for Guy Cotten. Pieyre-Alexandre’s prior experience includes stints at both BETC and McCann Paris.

Liz Agans and Mike Schneberg come to TBWA from McGarryBowen, where they worked together on Verizon, Intel and United Airlines accounts.

Josh Yeston joined the agency in December as Associate Creative Director. Josh has spent the last few years at RGA working on the Samsung and Volvo accounts. A graduate of Miami Ad School, he also worked as an Art Director at Pereira & O’Dell New York.

TBWA also announced the hiring of associate and junior creatives Mac Schwerin, Nick Choremi, Avi Steinbach, Gina Pido, Jeff Jablansky and Timothee Bayard to the agency this month.
