At ADFEST 2019, Asia’s longest-running and most celebrated creative festival, TBWA picked up a total of 20 Lotus awards: seven Gold, seven Silver, and six Bronze.
Amongst the big winners was TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno – celebrating eight awards including a Gold Film Lotus for Shelter House ‘Disgusting Stories’, and a Gold Design Lotus for Boysen ‘This is Tree’.
After winning ADFEST Agency of the Year in 2018, TBWA\HAKUHODO had another strong performance, picking up five Lotus awards for AIG ‘Pride Jersey’, including two Gold in the Branded Experience and Design categories; and two Silver Lotus awards for Nissan ‘ProPilot Hotel’.
Other Gold Lotus winners included TBWA\Thailand, with two for McDonald’s ‘The All Nighters’ campaign in the Outdoor and Press categories; and TBWA\India with a Gold Design Lotus for Neurogen Brain and Spine Institute’s ‘Blink To Speak’.
The awards were judged by 56 jury members from 22 cities, including TBWA\Thailand’s chief creative officer, Veradis Vinyaratn.
“After being on the jury and witnessing the amazing quality of work from both network and independent agencies across the region, I’m delighted to see TBWA come away with an impressive tally of awards, and from such a diverse range of markets and clients,” said Vinyaratn.
