Tan Yong Hin Joins Grey Group Malaysia as Chief Financial Officer

A 20 year veteran with experience in marketing communications, semiconductor, telecommunication and public accounting industries, Tan is also a member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

His diverse finance exposure includes strategic planning and implementation, business partnering, financial analysis and business modelling, and working capital
optimization at local, regional and global operations level, amongst others.

At Lowe and Partners, he was actively involved in the formulation and implementation of the business turnaround plan, and rebuilding the entire back-end support function of the company by identifying the right new talents and introducing business partnership concepts to the team.

He has also successfully revamped the global forecast and budgetary process at Kulicke & Soffa, and implemented the global performance enhancement plan which resulted in over US$10M annual cost savings.

Married with a son and daughter, Tan’s working philosophy is work hard, play hard. His dream is to travel around the world before he turns 55.
