For Orange’s 20th birthday, Publicis Conseil launches #Futureself and invites you to encounter your future.
Birthdays often represent the opportunity to roll back the clock and evaluate the path taken. For Orange, it is also an opportunity to look forward and plan tomorrow’s innovations ... and it is from this perspective that Publicis Conseil created, for the brand, a surprising digital experience that allows each one of us to meet and talk with one’s future self.
Go to futureself.orange.com
and live the extraordinary interactive experience. Take a picture of yourself, tell your age and gender, and let yourself be guided inside the world of 2034. Ask your future-self about the innovations since 2014, or ask him or her about your new job, your children and even your craziest dreams.
Hard to believe? Do like Stéphane Richard, CEO of Orange and Sébastien Chabal, who were the first to try the experience.
For this operation, Publicis Conseil called on Jam3, a Canadian production studio specialized in digital technologies, and privileged partner of MIT. Four months of work were necessary to create this premiere worldwide including the research and development to combine the different enhanced technologies, which are aging stimulation, facial recognition, voice recognition and real-time 3D rendering.
The FutureSelf project is not only a matter of technological performance.
It is also a recreated artificial intelligence. Answers to the questions were written by a variety of humorists to create a double from the future capable of holding a never-ending conversation with the curious minds wishing to lift the veil on their future.
