Modern society faces a superabundance of visual stimuli of all kinds. In truth, we are becoming so saturated with colours and pictures that it's becoming difficult for us to keep track of their emotions.
To combat this, the entrepreneur Vladimir Vaskevich has created a unique project called “Trip in the dark”. Vladimir is a city tour guide, but his tours are somewhat out of the ordinary as he is visually impaired.
A website created for the project by creative agency Voskhod lets us dive into Vladimir's world woven from sounds, touches, tastes and trust. Through a merging of art and technology, the user's past experience fades away and new one starts to form.
The user encounters new ways of interaction with the online environment: through voice commands, audio marks and 3D orientation. The more we explore the website, the more intense the darkness around us becomes.
