As the racing industry’s biggest supporter and contributor, TAB launched an integrated campaign on IWD, which will see a host of initiatives continue to highlight the achievements and contribution that females from all areas of the industry have made, above and beyond 8th March.
Beginning with a 15” launch film supported by press, digital, social, retail media including DOOH and a Youtube/Sky Racing broadcast buy. The campaign will continue its run of support today with an industry first, the Randwick race meeting will see each race renamed after individual women who make racing stronger every day.
Says Mandie van der Merwe, executive creative director, M&C Saatchi: “Not One Day recognises the outstanding women who have shaped the racing industry over the years but also acknowledges all those who continue to do so right now. We’re proud of this important piece of work because it is a celebration of women in the industry not just today but every day.”
Says Laura Brown, creative, M&C Saatchi: “Having the opportunity to support and celebrate some of the remarkable women in the racing industry has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We believe these stories of drive and resilience are worth sharing and we’re excited to keep telling them throughout the year.”
Says Luke Waldren, EGM – marketing, customer and product at TAB: “For the last 64 years at TAB, we’ve watched racing make the kind of strides that are the envy of all sports when it comes to women. It’s one of the many reasons we continue to back and celebrate an industry that’s leading the way.”
While International Women’s Day was on Monday 8 March, this campaign will run throughout the course of several months, with the steady release of individual stories of industry trailblazers and loyal supporters – hence the #NotOneDay campaign name.
