Spillman/Felser/Leo Burnett banishes clocks from snowy mountain village

 

As the countdown to the ski season begins, Switzerland Tourism has released its latest winter campaign. The TVC and online execution invites viewers to join Sebi and Paul, a pair of local heroes, on their special mission to remove all of the clocks from their isolated mountain village. As they trudge through beautiful winter landscapes, their pile of discarded timepieces grows, turning the area into the sort of resort where visitors really can lose track of time. 

Conceived by Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett and shot by director Michael Fueter the new spot is packed with stunning winter images.
 
The online execution has been designed to demonstrate how relaxing a Swiss winter vacation can be. The microsite www.myswitzerland.com/hibernation, hosts ‘live’ webcasts of a sleeping Sebi and Paul and visitors must attempt to wake them using all manner of nasty methods, including alp horn and avalanche. Anyone who manages to wake the snoozing pair will be entered in to a prize draw to win a winter holiday to Switzerland. The viral campaign has been developed with Zurich-based online agency Eyekon and was directed by Patrick Karpiczenko.
