Restaurant brand, Sweet Mandarin has appointed The Earned Agency to handle all Public Relations for its new range of dipping sauces manufactured and distributed by The English Provender Company.
Briefed to oversee all UK trade and consumer PR activity for the new range, The Earned Agency will leverage the heighted interest surrounding the brand and its entrepreneurial Tse sisters who have achieved national recognition on BBC’s Dragons Den and Gordon Ramsey’s F-Word for their family-run Chinese restaurant of the same name. The sisters recently cooked for the Prime Minister David Cameron and Premier Li of China at No. 10 Downing Street, and received MBEs from HRH The Queen for their services to food and drink this year.
The authentic pan Asian sauces include Sweet Chilli Sauce, Sweet & Sour Sauce, Chinese Barbecue Sauce, Sriracha Sauce, Hoi Sin Sauce and Wasabi Sauce are planned to be distributed across the UK retail market.
Neil Foster, managing director of The Earned Agency comments, “Sweet Mandarin is a great brand and one that lends itself really well to earned media thanks to its wonderfully human story and audience of foodie fans. We can’t wait to start raising Sweet Mandarin’s profile to help it take its place as one of the UK’s much loved food brands.”
