Surf's Up with these Beautifully Crafted Polish Wakeboard Ads

Surf culture may more often be associated with a scruffy, laid back aesthetic, but these print ads for wakeboard brand Nobile are all about pin-sharp precision and craft. Nobile is a Polish manufacturer of skis, snowboards, kiteboards and wakeboards and the careful detail of the campaign mirrors the craftmanship of the brand.

The colourful commercials re-imagine typical seaside scenes as abstract sculptures, opting for modernism over nautical nostalgia. In each case, the wakeboard only features as a dotted outline. 

The campaign was created by Saatchi & Saatchi Poland, and for Kamil Majewski they’re one of his favourite examples of the agency’s recent work. “They delight me withthe magnificent craft of our design department,” says Kamil.
