We’ve opened the doors. Now there’s a home for the best freelancers in the game. The brave. The bold. The insanely talented. The #Superfreelancers.
Little Black Book has launched the latest stage in its evolution, a space for the growing number of fabulous freelancers and digital nomads who make the creative industry what it is.
LBB Freelancers is a new kind of membership, that allows freelancers to cut out the middlemen and to take charge of their own relationships and diary. It’s somewhere for directors, creatives, producers, editors, planners, colourists, animators and more to share their work and be found. The likes of AMV BBDO, Droga5, The Mill, Rattling Stick use the site and it’s a place to get under the nose of the most exciting companies in the business.
Because being a lone ranger can be, well, lonely, joining LBB Freelancers, allows you to instantly be part of something bigger. It’s a real community and you’ll get access to networking events (including the LBB & Friends Beach in Cannes), as well as support from the LBB team. The editorial team will also be shining a spotlight on our superfreelancers from time to time.
For creative businesses who need to skill up quickly, there’s no barrier to finding the talent you need (no finders fees or crazy paywalls). And, because silos don’t make sense in this fluid and fast-changing industry, we recognise that these days you’re looking for skill and talent, rather than using old school ‘career routes’. That’s why LBB Freelancers allows you to filter via ‘Craft’ (creative, directing, producing etc) rather than workplace type (agency, production company, post).
We’re super excited about this new venture. We’ve been planning it and working on it for a long time, so now it’s the moment for you guys to take hold of it and make it work for you. Head to lbbonline.com/freelancers
to check it out. We’ll be populating the site throughout the coming week, so be sure to come back.
