Lowe Thailand has appointed Supavadee Tantiyanon as its new CEO. Based in Bangkok, Tantiyanon will report to Lowe’s Regional President, Asia Pacific, Rupen Desai, and will be responsible for leading the agency’s divisions in one of its most dynamic Southeast Asian markets. The role is effective immediately.
She brings with her over 20 years of Asian and international business leadership experience. Most recently, she was general manager for mysales.co.th, and prior to this, set up and led the digital framework and CRM at Minor Global Solutions -- one of Thailand’s biggest conglomerate organisations spanning hotels, restaurant development and distribution for large global brands.
In the agency arena, Tantiyanon was formerly managing director of OgilvyOne Bangkok, and strategic planning director at OgilvyOne Worldwide. Additionally, she held an Asia Pacific role with OgilvyOne Worldwide as a regional consultant responsible for P&G China e-commerce, and the launch of Nestle breakfast cereal. She also launched and led the CRM Interactive business unit under iLeo. Tantiyanon started her career at Unilever in research and brand management.
Desai comments: “We are delighted to welcome Supavadee to this key management role. She brings a wealth of multiple sector leadership experience including agency, retail, digital and beyond. For an agency with true integration at its core, she was our ideal choice.”
Michael Wall, global chief executive officer, Lowe and Partners, states: “This is a critical role for Lowe Thailand and for the Lowe and Partners network as a whole. We’re delighted that Supavadee will be leading our Thai agency at this time of dynamic change and growth.”
Tantiyanon adds: “These are exciting times both for Thai markets and for Lowe Thailand as an agency. I think this will be a varied and challenging role, which is exactly why it is so appealing, and I feel very positive about steering Lowe Thailand to reach its bold ambitions.”
