This year,
CICLOPE won’t be able to host its usual event in November. Despite this, it would be a mistake not to recognise the work you have done in the last 12 months: now more than ever, the festival recognises the need to celebrate the unique and diverse talent in the industry, and lead up conversations that matter.
So, call for entries for CICLOPE 2020 is now open. This year you can submit commercials, fashion films, branded content, music videos and short films into
13 categories including Direction, Cinematography, Editing, VFX, Sound Design, Original Music, New Talent and –this year’s special– Remote Production.
The judging process will be fully online – through CICLOPE’s judging platform and video conferences – and, once again, the
jury panel will gather key players in the industry, such as David Lee (CCO, Squarespace),
Justine Armour (CCO, Grey NY),
Shawn Lacy (co-founder, Biscuit Filmworks),
Hilary Coate (head of integrated production, Venables Bell + Partners), Ruben Mercadal (director of film production, Droga5), Juliette Larthe (partner, Prettybird UK), Anthony Falco (chief production officer, adam&eveDDB), and many more.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 3rd December and, in the meantime, CICLOPE will be sharing bit-sized content to start honest and truly transformative conversations in a safe setting. Think of this as a short festival coming to your home screen each week. More details to be announced soon!
Until 18th September, you can enter your work at an
Early Bird special price.
