Ed Sheeran has released a new promo for his latest single, ‘Beautiful People,’ featuring Khalid. The track is the third release from Ed’s upcoming album ‘No 6 Collaborations Project,’ due for release on 12th July.

The video explores the realities of two ‘ordinary people’ who stumble into a celebrity world of glitz and glam. The video, directed by Rattling Stick’s Andy McLeod, sees a couple board a plane to an exotic location before being ushered to a pool party, a luxury yacht and finally a private jet home. All the while, the couple are happier in their own company, completing sudokus, slow dancing and drinking cocoa during the party. Both Ed Sheeran and Khalid have cameos in the video, appearing in the backgrounds of the parties and on the front row of the fashion show. The moral of the story seems to be to stay true to who you are, as the song lyrics reflect; “That’s not who we are / We are not beautiful. We don’t fit in well, we are just ourselves.”
