The ‘Strip for Likes’ campaign, live as of today, re-launches the Amsterdam Facebook page for the American modish fashion brand- Stussy. The campaign has been created by Arnold Amsterdam, the new creative agency in town.
Sean Thompson, Head of Creativity, Arnold Amsterdam says:
‘As a contemporary brand you need to be wherever your fans live, shop or play. Facebook plays an integral part of their lives, Stussy AMS’ Facebook is therefore an important platform to engage with fans inform them or just share the fun.’
‘Like to see less, and share to undress’
The ‘Strip for Likes’ campaign is a tongue-in-cheek way to showcase Stussy’s new Spring/ Sumer 2012 collection and to engage with brand’s Facebook community. The campaign idea is straightforward- the more 'likes' the Stussy Amsterdam Facebook page gets, the more the model undresses. The amount of clothing to fall off the model is left entirely up to the fans to influence. It is in your hands.
How did it come together?
Arnold Amsterdam used the brand’s Facebook platform to search for a suitable model. They have found who they thought represents the essence of Stussy’s style. They then dressed her up in the entire- yes, all of it- Stussy Spring/Summer 2012 Men’s collection.
Colin Lamberton, Creative Arnold Amsterdam says:
‘As you can imagine the model must be suffocating under that many layers of clothing. It is almost a public duty to free her out of this misery so we are expecting Facebook fans to help out here. Like and undress.’
Stussy’s Spring/ Summer 2012 collection can be found in Amsterdam’s coolest fashion stores now (Concrete, Subliminal, Sample district, Precinct 5 and more).
