Story Worldwide, the brand storytelling agency announces today that it has merged with VonShine Industries, a NYC based influencer and social media firm to bring enhanced capabilities to its growing client base, which includes powerhouse names such as (FX Networks, Unilever and Lexus). The new company will offer a host of enhanced services while continuing to use the Story name and brand identity that it has become synonymous with storytelling leadership since 2006. 

Story founder and CEO Simon Kelly said: “We’re really excited to be working with VonShine in this new partnership. It’s a very natural and symbiotic step for both Story and VonShine to take. It is no longer sufficient to help create a compelling story for a brand and expect the audience to come. VonShine brings a terrific ability to build a relevant audience in large numbers adding what we now call story-sharing to our current story-finding and making capabilities.” 

Josh von Scheiner, VonShine’s founder and now Story’s CXO continues: “A modern creative agency needs to be able to own the brand’s narrative, regardless of the storyteller. Our new agency allows us to help brands find their unique narrative, and employ the right mix of credible voices to then create and share brand stories.”

In conjunction with the announcement of this new partnership, Story is also launching StoryScore2.0, a powerful measurement tool designed to predict the impact of a story before it launches. Leveraging VonShine’s proprietary sentiment mapping tool, StoryScore2.0 will measure creative impact of content in market and is poised to serve as the industry’s most comprehensive narrative measurement framework, evaluating impact from story inception through activation.

Kelly adds: “Our narrative measurement tool goes far beyond the basics and will help marketers better understand the strong correlation to their bottom-line sales. This holistic view of performance is critical to support our role as the guardian of the brand narrative – especially as we continue to rapidly grow our production expertise and we will have some exciting news on that front very shortly.” 

Story is a New York and Seattle based agency specialising in connecting brands and their audiences through making stories from the gut, not the hip. 

VonShine Industries is a word of mouth media agency that combines social media, native advertising, influencer marketing and PR to make brands culturally compelling. It was founded by Josh von Scheiner who built one of the first social media departments in the music industry at 10th Street Entertainment and Eleven Seven Music. Brand work has since spanned Warner, Universal, Sony, General Motors, T-Mobile, Gatorade, Starwood, Amazon and Audible.
