Sterling Vineyards has released its ‘Pairs Well With You’ campaign, a series of short online films that celebrates the innovative spirit of Canada’s creatives. Conceptualised by independent creative agency Mint, each of the three films reveals how there’s more to an individual than what they project. Through inventive storytelling, collaboration with self-expressive talent, and artistic production, the spots poetically illustrate that no matter your projection, layers, or story, Sterling Vineyards pairs well with you.
“To bring the legacy wine brand to a younger demographic in an authentic way,” says Mint executive creative director Kim Tarlo, “we selected talents that push culture, are unapologetically themselves, and of course, have interesting stories.” Working in close collaboration with stylist and Editor-in-Chief of Bully Magazine Bobby Bowen, esteemed Toronto DJ Killa Kels, and artist and producer Sean Leon, Tarlo and team brought in director Jasmin Mozaffari and projection artist Trish Roque to bring their many layers to life and convey each story in a dynamic, stylistic, and entertaining way. Projected videos and images dance across the creators’ faces as they tell their stories, allowing time, space, and expression to converge and separate in a manner that is visually compelling and emotive.
“We wanted to show social innovators and creatives that Sterling is a wine that fits with their adventurous and social lifestyle,” says Hilary Sheppard, national senior portfolio manager, Sterling Vineyards Canada. “These films highlight our creators’ unique stories and that Sterling has the perfect pairing for whoever you may be.”
The campaign will run online across digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, as well as the creative collaborators’ Instagram channels.
