Stept Studios Welcomes Filmmaker Maya Table to Directors Roster

Stept Studios, a leading creative production studio, is thrilled to announce the latest addition to its roster of talented directors: award winning Maya Table. Maya has been celebrated for her ability to craft uplifting narratives within sport, automotive, comedy and music. 

Nick Martini, co-founder of Stept, shared his excitement about the new collaboration, stating, "Maya Table is a remarkable talent with a unique ability to drive cultural conversations through motion in her doc and commercial work. We are thrilled to have Maya join the Stept family." 

Maya has garnered recognition for her work as a 2021 Adweek Creative 100: Visionary Director and a 2021 Adobe Mentor. Her portfolio boasts an impressive array of short films, commercials, music videos and documentaries, and her directorial work spans across brands like Hulu, Google, Discover Card, Target, Adidas, and most recently, Ford and Honda. 

In addition to her commercial success, Maya has directed and produced music videos for artists including Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Offset, Cardi B, and Travis Scott. Her commitment to storytelling extends to three impactful shorts: 'Reclaiming Nappy,' a documentary featured at Facebook's 2019 Sundance Festival panel; 'Dating App,' a short film featured by Issa Rae and FoxSoul; and 'Hit The Road,' which earned her the Best Editing award at the BWFN film festival.
