Squeak E. Clean Studios Adds Senior Post Producer Angelina Phengphong to Chicago Office
Global creative audio network Squeak E. Clean Studios has added Angelina Phengphong as senior post producer out of its Chicago studio. Formerly serving as a senior producer in Squeak E. Clean Studios’ Sydney location, Phengphong made the move to expand the company’s post offerings across its three U.S. studios. Having spent four years at Nylon Studios before the company merged to form Squeak E. Clean Studios, she has been an integral force in continuing to bolster Squeak E. Clean Studios’ post presence in Australia, combining her marketing and production experience with a passion for film and music to become a post producer extraordinaire. Expertly producing projects across broadcast commercials, radio, TV, documentaries, podcasts, VR, gaming and sonic branding, Phengphong has worked with some of the world’s leading agencies and international brands such as Samsung, United Nations, and Hyundai. Her work has garnered some of the world’s top sound design accolades, including being Shortlisted for a Cannes Lion alongside Squeak E. Clean’s joint ECD and acclaimed Sound Designer, Simon Lister.

A big believer in the power of sound in storytelling, Phengphong has a particular interest in exploring ways brands can engage with their audiences through the craft of audio. With a background in marketing and business, she got her start on the production side of the industry, working as a P.A. on various indie feature films before starting with Nylon Studios in Sydney. Working in close step with Executive Creative Director Simon Lister, as well as the studio’s lineup of in-house sound designers and mixers, she quickly fell in love with post-production becoming involved in projects with some of Australia’s top directors and celebrity talent, including Cate Blanchett and Sam Neill.
Phengphong’s move to Squeak E. Clean Studios Chicago comes off the heels of recent additions to the global team in the first two months of 2021, including the addition of Michael 'MG' Gross as executive creative producer and Matthew 'Cornbread' Compton as senior composer out of Los Angeles, and Amanda Patterson stepping into the national role of head of production.
