Sparks Productions Welcomes Director Ciarán Dooley to Canadian Roster

Sparks has announced Dublin-based director, Ciarán Dooley, has joined its team for representation in Canada. 

Ciarán made his advertising debut with a beautiful yet powerful commercial he created for Samsung entitled 'The Loneliest Boy In The World'. It immediately established Ciarán’s empathetic lens through which he conveys a story. His many commercials for Ireland’s Homestore are both entertaining and touching. A particular one, 'The Date', earned him a Kinsale Shark award for directing craft. Ciarán’s short films have also won him both a Warner Bros Creative Talent Scholarship and an Irish Film and Television Academy Award nomination.

As Sparks' president, Andy Crosbie observed: “Ciarán Dooley has a wonderful ability to create an atmosphere on set which provides actors a real comfort zone. Ciarán manages to achieve that, and great looking film too, by simply approaching each step of production with care and thought as to how all the pieces will come together, Homestore’s 'The Date' is a wonderful example of this”.

Ciarán is represented in Ireland by Sweet Media, in the UK by Outsider and in Europe by agent Francesco Del Minio.
