After a year and a half to forget, everybody needed more than ever to travel, everybody needed a destination that offers us security and confidence. The motto of this campaign runs around how in 2021 year, more than ever, you deserve a vacation in Spain.
The campaign produced by CANADA has been distributed globally since the start of the summer and now we see the director's cut by Marc Oller.
Director Marc Oller shares some thoughts on the project: “My favourite part of creating this film was the whole shoot. I had never had so much freedom while shooting, and I had full support from the agency and client, which made an incredible experience. Instead of working with a storyboard, we used a very simple script and a mood board, then I wrote some ideas and we improvised a lot of sequences and shots. I worked with the actors and tried to create a personal and realistic moment with them or the DP and I saw something interesting out of action and we would take the camera and rushed to capture it without being noticed. It was exhausting but super fun!
“I really wanted to create a realistic and personal experience for the viewers, so it was very important for me to capture moments of truth. My main inspiration was my own experience living by the Mediterranean, but of course, I also had many references from other commercials -the most important of them being Martin de Thurah’s work- and photographers that I love.”
