Takes Head of Moving Image & Digital role

Somethin' Else Promotes Ian Sharpe

Somethin’ Else the content design and creation company has promoted Ian Sharpe to Head of Moving Image & Digital. Somethin’ Else creates compelling content for brands and broadcasters that engage audiences across all platforms.

In his new role Ian will be ultimately responsible for the entire suite of sales and production work across two crucial areas of the Somethin' Else business - Digital and TV & Video. The ongoing growth of both of these areas is at the heart of the role, coupled with a continued focus on creating visual and digital products of the highest calibre for the entire Somethin' Else client roster which includes the BBC, Channel 4, Red Bull, The Economist and The BRIT Awards.

Previously Ian held the role of Head of Video at Somethin’ Else. Prior to joining Somethin’ Else he worked at various visual and interactive departments throughout the BBC, latterly running the digital team and portfolio at BBC Radio 2.

Ian Sharpe said, “I'm incredibly excited to get stuck in to a new part of the business and help it grow, but also to continue making fantastic products for some great clients across both areas”

Somethin’ Else MD Steve Ackerman said, “Our content solutions are increasingly demanding a multi-platform approach and it makes complete sense to bring together one team for all our online and visual content, headed by the fantastic talents of Ian.”
