Some Films Brings Home Lithuania’s First Golden Ciclope Award for Best Live Experience

Vilnius-based production company Some Films picked up a golden Ciclope - an ultimate award in Digital Craft / Live Experience of Ciclope Festival 2017 for creating the Tele2 Kinetic Generative Music Installation.

"We all loved this particular piece and thought it perfectly demonstrated what the Ciclope Festival is all about… honouring the craft in the work. The art direction and set-up of the whole experience really appealed to us. A truly beautiful exhibit,” said Digital Craft jury commission chairman Adrian Belina.

“As nothing similar had been done before, a lot of our work was experimental. This project connected many different fields, and offered plenty of challenges, but we realised it and achieved an uncompromising result primarily because we worked with a team of incredibly talented and dedicated professionals, and thanks to the author of the installation, artist Andrius Šarapovas. We dedicate this one-eyed trophy, first and foremost, to them," said Some Films managing director and executive producer Olga Radčenko. "Today, I am confident that, surrounded by such creative people, we will be able to bring to life many more original ideas.”
