Soldats Welcomes Directors Matthäus Bussmann and Kacper Larski

Soldats has announced the signing of two new directors: Kacper Larski and Matthäus Bussmann.

After working as runner, PA and production manager, Matthäus Bussman discovered his talent for editing through learning-by-doing and self teaching. This experience helped him in approaching his ultimate goal: directing. He has made his passion and hobby of portraying people into his job. At the beginning of his career, he directed several campaigns which won several prizes at the Effies. With a very contemporary and visionary approach, Matthäus likes to play with the emotions of the viewers by drawing them into intensity through lifestyle, automotive, luxury and storytelling visual films. Among the clients he has collaborated are VW, Krys, Opel, Smart, Mercedes, Schweppes and many others.

Kacper Larski is a director based between Toronto and Los Angeles, who enthralls audiences by crafting films with a raw visual language, blending the real and surreal with a strong sense of editing, elegant cinematography and powerful sound design.

His commercials are a reflection of narrative human storytelling, nature, sports and adventures. His work in the commercial industry has taken him around the world where the locations are always pushed and the human spirit of exploration dances with every shot. Kacper wants to show beauty in all things, and while action and adventure is an element of that, he also wants to show the human stories that happen in these places, where the adrenaline runs high and people are pushing themselves to the limit.

Among his many commercials, he has collaborated with Jeep, Chevrolet, Garmin and Land Rover.
