Sohonet Announces HDMI Input Support for ClearView Flex

Sohonet, the global experts in connectivity, media services and network security for the media and entertainment industry, will support HDMI as an alternative input source for ClearView Flex. Customers can now choose between SDI or HDMI input based on individual project requirements to share desktops in real-time.

The additional input source allows creatives in a ClearView Flex session to share editing software interfaces, review video files played through any media player on desktops and connect monitors through HDMI when SDI isn’t available. The solution maintains its strict adherence to air-gapped security for pre-release content workflows while allowing presenters more flexibility in sharing their “timeline” from their desktop or frame and colour-accurate output from the industry’s leading creative tools

The HDMI option is available to both ClearViewFlex Pro and ClearViewFlex Go customers.
