The next generation photo booth, ‘Social Playground’s’ Live Instagram Printer, engages the “selfie” generation at events and driving brand conversations across social media. 

Created in Australia, the live Instagram Printer is the first and most advanced of its kind, carrying the nostalgia of the Polaroid photo into the digital age, and enabling smartphone and Instagram users to take a photo, add an event hashtag and collect a branded printout of their photo – all within 60 seconds. 

Unlike the traditional photo booth, the Live Instagram Printer revolutionizes this system by collecting and printing consumer’s photos taken anywhere in the event space. Particularly favoured by brands, ‘Social Playground’ harnesses the popularity of social media and inspires users to publish content by building conversation and incentivising them to tag photos with brand event hashtags.

‘Social Playground’ stylishly fits into event spaces with the option to custom brand the printer with a company’s logo and considers post-event communication, as well as brand engagement at an event, by efficiently creating lasting branded memento for when your event is over. 

‘Social Playground’ has partnered with global retail and lifestyle brands including Spotify, Sony, Topshop Topman, ELLE and Adidas. In 2013, ‘Social Playground’ crossed the pond with its launch in the UK, making their first stamp on the London social media scene at the ‘ASOS Epic Summer’ event; more than doubling hashtag activity with telling results such as a drive of 874,000+ social impressions and 18,000+ engagements at the ‘ASOS Epic Summer’ event.
