Director Fenn O'Meally's latest for Maverick Sabre's ‘Signs’ is the second instalment of an on-going collaboration between the filmmaker and musician.

The music video for ‘Signs’ begins with a provocation that technology and capitalism move in different ways than human evolution.

Expertly lensed on super 16mm, there's an impressionistic quality to the painterly compositions, punctuated by colourful flashes of abstract expression. The film evokes a magical realism and is uniquely fascinated with modernity, mother nature and the evolution of life. 

"This whole project is about conversations. Whether we're opening new ones or continuing to flesh out current ones, conversations of love, society, politics, pain and general life have guided and moulded this project in ways I hadn't initially thought of." explains SMUGGLER’s Fenn O'Meally.
