Award-winning music house SixtyFour Music is expanding and very excited to announce the hire of Tamara Credle as its latest Music Supervisor in New York

Tamara’s previous experience encompasses all areas of music, since graduating with a degree in International Music Business. She has worked within record labels, artist management, events and publishing and proved to be an exceptionally well-rounded applicant ready to make the move into sync.

“You should be picking music for movies” a music teacher told her at 14, well it won’t be long! When the pandemic hit, Tamara saw an opportunity to dive into co-producing compositions and commercial music internationally and oversaw a host of freelance music supervision projects.

“I could not be more thrilled for this journey with SixtyFour Music. I finally have a place for all of this music and production knowledge to thrive and shine. The work of the team at SixtyFour speaks for itself, and I am so excited to be a part of it!”

Rebecca, MD of the New York Office added: “I am immensely excited to have Tamara join our US SixtyFour team. Tamara shone during interviews (we had close to 500 applicants)! She has an incredible knowledge of new music, composers and is also a great DJ. Having produced multiple music videos and shoots, her production skills are impressive, she has a genuine passion for music and people.”

SixtyFour got to know Tamara’s musical background in depth with these three questions:

Q: What's the song you can sing word for word (or at least nearly) without a backing track and lyrics?

A: Piece of my Heart- Big Brother and the Holding Company, or Optimistic- Sounds of Blackness

Q: Who's your favourite DJ and why?

A: Favourite DJ - I don't just have one favorite so it'll depend. Riton & MK for getting ready for the weekend, it's so fun to get to dance around and get ready to go out for the evening. Natasha Diggs for every day, because she knows how to curate great vibes for a dance floor. DJ Premier because his impact on HipHop is unmatched. Grandmaster is one of the originals, and Robelledo's ear for disco, I've never heard anything like it. His sets are mind-blowing.

Q: Which album do you remember most from childhood?

A: I remember Earth, Wind, and Fire's MASSIVE box set from the 90s called The Eternal Dance and my dad gifted it to my mother because they were her favourite group. We pretty much listened to that for 5 years straight hahaha. I know every word to every single song.
