Sinéad Rocks, Rania Robinson and Annie Auerbach Join WACL Panel to Look at the Future of Work
Three women who are leaders in their industries discuss their thoughts on reinventing the workplace for this new era in a streamed event called Why the Future of Work is #FlexibleFirst. It is hosted by WACL, the network campaigning for organisations to commit to adopting flexible working conditions as one way of tackling the gender pay gap.
Many theories about workplace productivity were thoroughly debunked by lockdown; at the same time all those old excuses for the lack of progress on diversity and inclusiveness have been roundly rejected. So what are smart organisations doing in the wake of two such profound changes?
Looking at these issues are Sinéad Rocks, who is managing director for nations and regions at Channel 4; Rania Robinson, CEO and partner at independent creative agency Quiet Storm; and Annie Auerbach, who is the author of Flex and co-founder of the award-winning bank Starling.
All three were, in common with leaders everywhere, faced with once-in-a-career challenges due to the pandemic. As we explore a return to the office, they discuss what innovative organisations are going to offer employees in terms of working conditions and how crucial diversity and inclusion improvements can be achieved. What benefits will be the most attractive to the best talent? How can workforces be supported to ensure that collaboration, creativity and innovation are maximised?
