Effie Worldwide, global symbol of effectiveness in marketing communications, has announced its judges in advance of the 2018 Global Effie Awards. A rigorous jury of senior industry executives focused on identifying the industry’s most effective work.
After being judge for the Euro Effies last year, Alex Pasini, Sid Lee Senior Vice President Global Alliances, is named 2018 Global Effie Awards Judge.
A member of the Sid Lee team for over a decade for whom he led Adidas, Ubisoft, or Red Bull accounts, Montreal native Alex Pasini exported Sid Lee across the Atlantic to Europe. First stop Amsterdam where he opened the former Sid Lee Amsterdam agency, then joining Sid Lee Paris in 2013. Following Sid Lee joining the kyu collective, Alex’s role was raised to SVP Global Alliances where he now oversees from Paris relationships between multiple Sid Lee offices as well as between kyu agencies and parent company Hakuhodo DY Holdings.
As a Global Effie Round One Judge, Alex will evaluate a mix of both Multi-Market and Multi-Region submissions.
• MULTI-MARKET TRACK: The Multi-Market Track celebrates efforts that ran in at least three countries within the past three years.
• MULTI-REGION TRACK: The Multi-Region Track celebrates efforts that ran in at least four or more countries and two or more worldwide regions within the past three years.
This year the Global Effie competition will be judged by top global marketers in Singapore, São Paulo, New York and London. Alex Pasini will be joining the London session, which will take place on Tuesday, March 20th at Facebook’s London office.
The Effie Awards are known by advertisers and agencies globally as the pre-eminent award in the industry, and recognize any and all forms of marketing communication that contribute to a brand's success. The award honors all forms of effective marketing communications and the companies and individuals creating effective work on six continents and over forty countries.
