An experienced advertising professional, Loughran co-founded and was Executive Producer at digital design and development studios Colorfield and Lollipop. She has also produced at agencies including ZiG and Dentsu. Given the acceleration of Sid Lee Toronto’s in-house studio, her experience is an ideal fit for the agency’s production department. For the past 18 months, the studio has been gaining momentum in producing social content, digital platforms, experiential (events), TV ads, and branded content.
Global Head of Studio Richard Jean-Baptiste is thrilled with Loughran’s appointment to the studio, as Sid Lee’s Toronto office continues to carefully curate a team to expand its studio. “After deploying the Montreal studio and seeing its success, we’re proud to fortify the Toronto studio through the appointment of its new leader, Amanda,” he said.
Loughran has an entrepreneurial background, as well as experience with traditional and digital advertising; she has worked closely with account teams, creative technologists, designers, directors, editors, and audio engineers in her multidisciplinary career.
“[Head of Studio] is, to me, the amalgamation of all these experiences,” Loughran said. “It takes everything I’ve done over my career and fuses it into one nice little package.”
“Sid Lee is a company I’ve admired from a creative perspective and for its entrepreneurial spirit for most of my career,” she added.
“We are aligned with the ever-shifting landscape of brands and brands’ reality,” said Jean-Baptiste of the agency whose headcount is now over 100 in the Toronto office, and whose priorities include offering tactical, nimble, and agile production approaches for its clients.
