Shocking Spot from Irish International Encourages Smokers to 'Survive'

Health Service Executive (HSE) has collaborated with Irish International and 2AM to launch a new campaign for Quit Smoking Ireland.

Directed by Steve Cope through 2AM the film features street cast Dubliners lip-syncing to Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’ to celebrate the fact that for the first time ever there are more quitters than smokers in Ireland.

For every single member of the cast, this was their first time in front of the camera, adding to the compelling and honest message the film delivers. With a haunting rug pull to remind us of the dangers inherent in smoking before a climatic ending, this is a compelling film with a powerful message.
