Shakey’s, one of the leading Pizza chains in the Philippines, has appointed Mobext as its new digital agency of record, following a review of its communications strategy for the next two years. The agency will bring a mobile-first focus into the brand’s digital efforts and will work closely with incumbent creative agency, J. Romero and Associates.
Mobext’s duties will cover a full digital scope, including management of Shakey’s desktop and mobile websites, social media, mobile and online media, and other digital assets. “We’re a full-service creative and technology agency with mobile at our core, and we are very excited to bring this approach on our new role at Shakey’s,” said Arthur Policarpio, Head of Mobext Asia-Pacific.

Shakey’s first worked with Mobext last 2013 after the agency provided a LENS digital marketing audit to the brand. This was followed by several collaborations on online advertising. “Mobext is recognized in the country as the leading digital agency with a mobile-first focus, and this collaboration will propel us to achieve our goal of becoming a major player in the digital marketing arena,” added Castillo.
