Seven Worldwide Partners Agencies Recognised in Agency of the Year Awards

Awards and Events 305 Add to collection

The honours represent agencies' ability to adapt and grow in the face of changing client needs

Seven Worldwide Partners Agencies Recognised in Agency of the Year Awards

Seven Worldwide Partners independent agencies from Asia-Pacific, EMEA and North America regions have been recognised in 2021 Agency of the Year awards programs from leading industry publications. These honours represent our agencies’ ability to adapt and grow in the face of changing client needs and continued global uncertainty.

Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year Awards

Tokyo-based relativ*, a marketing consultancy agency specialising in building sustainable relationships between brands and consumers, was honoured in Campaign’s Japan/Korea Agency of the Year awards for the fifth year in a row. This year relativ* took home Bronze for Independent Agency of the Year and Best Culture.

Ampersand Advisory, a data-led marketing and business consulting agency based in Kuala Lumpur, was recognised in Campaign’s Southeast Asia Agency of the Year Awards for the third year in a row. This year Ampersand took home Silver for Malaysia Independent Agency of the Year.

“We’re honoured and humbled to win another medal for Independent Agency of the Year. It will look good on the wall next to the other two we’ve won in this same category in 2019 and 2020, as well as our metal for Media Agency of the Year last year,” said Ampersand CEO Sandeep Joseph. “The goal as always is to keep growing and adding value to clients and to ourselves. In keeping with our motto of ‘business results now!’ these awards are just nice scenery along that journey.”

Blink Digital, a full-service digital agency based in Mumbai, India, was ranked the 17th Hottest Agency in India by Campaign Brief Asia, and the #1 Independent Digital Agency on the list. Blink’s ability to develop unique brand experiences through a fusion of technology, digital art, and creativity helped them secure this honour for the second year in a row.

"We hope that Blink Digital being on this list is an inspiration for other independent agencies,” said Dooj Ramchandani, co-founder and chief creative officer of Blink. “Most of the time the smaller independent agencies sell out to the bigger ones because they feel they can’t compete. Us being on this list is a testament that if we can do it, so can the other indies.”

WE Marketing Group, a Shanghai-based end-to-end total marketing solution that empowers business growth via ideas for business, products, campaigns, and retail content, was named 2020 China Agency of the Year by the HK Institute of Marketing. The award recognised WE as a remarkable business enterprise for its leadership in marketing contribution to China and Hong Kong SAR as a whole.

EMEA Agency of the Year Awards

TMW Business, an integrated B2B marketing agency based in Reading, United Kingdom, was highly commended as B2B Small Agency of the Year in The Drum’s B2B Awards. TMW’s focus on people--and creating ideas that move them--is unique in the B2B world, and it’s what helps them stand out and secure growth for their clients.

“It was our first time entering [The Drum B2B Awards] and it’s great to see the team’s hard work and talent recognised. We’ll be back this time next year and going for gold!” said Eion Rodgers, Managing Partner of TMW Business.

North American Agency of the Year Awards

Toronto-based FUSE Create, a creative-first marketing agency focused on delivering the highest standard of marketing, advertising, experiential, and healthcare communications, was named Strategy Small Agency of the Year Bronze. In addition to their exemplary service offering, Strategy recognised the radical changes to their product, reputation, and culture that helped them stand out and thrive this year.

“We embarked on massive change a few years back, held firm during a crazy pandemic, and continue to push the business to new heights,” said FUSE CEO Stephen Brown. “Winning the Bronze Small Agency of the Year is a new height for our incredible team that made this happen. All my respect, admiration, and thanks go out to the team of people who Turn Heads every day.”

lg2, based in Montreal and the largest independent creative agency in Canada, was named Strategy 2021 Design Agency of the Year Silver. The agency has undergone a major evolution since starting in 1991. Once simply an ad agency, lg2 is now a creative enterprise that helps clients with progress, sustainable growth, and brand experience.

“Nowadays, a brand experience is multidimensional. It is built in layers, and we must be prepared to respond to any and all of them,” says lg2 Partner and CEO Claude Auchu. It is this evolution in addition to 34% year-over-year growth that led to this honour from Strategy.

Congratulations to everyone at these agencies and throughout the WPI network. We know that our network is comprised of the most progressive, creative, and diverse marketing talent in the world, and it’s rewarding to see others recognizing this success, especially during another tough year.
