Setapp Selects Droga5 London to Handle Global Launch

Setapp, the curatorial service that helps people find the apps they need, has appointed Droga5 London to handle the advertising for its global launch. 

The agency won the $3 million account after impressing Setapp’s founders with a talk at SXSW earlier this year.

Droga5’s work will launch Setapp, which was created by Mac developer MacPaw, and raise awareness of its benefits. The subscription-based service is available for desktop Mac applications, and ensures that users access the best apps that are most suitable for their needs. 

The campaign will emphasise that Setapp helps people to select the apps that will improve personal productivity, handpicking from among the best available. 

Yaroslav Stepanenko, the global chief marketing officer at Setapp, said: “We needed proven strategic and creative talent with experience across multiple markets for what is our all- important global launch.” 

Dylan Williams, chief strategy officer at Droga5 London, said: “Young companies love working with young companies, so it’s great for Droga5 to be helping Setapp take the stage at this moment in its infancy.”
