Serviceplan Wins 9 Cannes Lions and Take Number 2 Ranking Among German Agencies

Serviceplan Group were awarded 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze Lions
At the 65th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Serviceplan Group were awarded 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze Lions, taking home a total of 9 Cannes Lions. With this result Serviceplan Group is ranked 2nd place among all German agencies.  

DOT Mini, the first smart media device for the visually impaired from DOT Inc and cloudandco in Korea with Serviceplan Korea and Serviceplan Innovation, was awarded a Gold Lion in Health & Wellness.

The technology of DOT Mini was awarded a Gold in Innovation. Completing the Trio of Gold Lions for Serviceplan Group was ‘The Archaeologist’, Ehinger Kraftrad, which won a Gold Design Lion. 

A triumvirate of Silver Lions was awarded to campaigns for Beck’s, Sky and DOT; DOT Mini won Silver in Product Design; ‘Say it with Sky’ – Sky Germany – won Silver in Media; and ‘Le Beck’s: The Legendary Beer Can’ – Beck’s (AB InBev) – won Silver in Design.  





Three Bronze Lions included; Bronze for Serviceplan France with ‘Autism Can Work’ – Andros – in Brand Experience & Activation Lions; Bronze for Fittle – LV Prasad Eye Institute/ Ravensburger/ WHO Collaboration Centre – in Product Design Lions; and Bronze for ‘The Shortcut Billboards’ – MINI – in Media.

As well enjoying awards success, Serviceplan Group organised a full programme of client events including a Wigwam session with Adobe, and speaker sessions introduced by Senta Slingerland. A carefully curated day of inspirational speakers gave their insights into Trends & Themes at Cannes Lions 2018 including; Tracey Follows, head of Strategy at WIRED consulting; 'Centre for Humane Technology' Founder Tristan Harris on 'How Tech has Us Hooked'; and Buzzfeed’s Ze Frank on 'Creativity at the Intersection of Humans and Data’. Charles Day, founder of Pulse Films, took part in a live podcast with Fearless founder Thomas Benski.

Serviceplan Group were also represented on the Cannes Lions Jury, with Sandra Loibl, General Manager and Executive Creative Director of Serviceplan Campaign, sitting on the Brand Experience & Activation Lions Jury.

Serviceplan Group’s Global CCO Alexander Schill rounded off a full week with a popular speaker session at Cannes Lions Beach where fearless business leaders share their point of view on creative leadership, with People Magazine’s Deputy Editor JD Heyman.
