Accelerated internationalization pays off for Serviceplan Group, who enter Top 25 of AdAge’s Gross Income Ranking 2018

Serviceplan Group Jumps to Number 22 in AdAge Agency Report Global Ranking
Twelve years have passed since Florian Haller, CEO of Serviceplan Group, Europe’s largest  multiple award-winning independent agency network, set out to realise his dream of a truly integrated international agency group. Fast forward to 2018, when Ad Age’s 2018 Gross Income agency ranking provides evidence that the seed has been successfully planted and the crop is ready to harvest.

Founded in 1945, Agency Report is AdAge’s annual ranking and analysis of advertising and marketing-services agencies.  The report includes rankings based on U.S. and Worldwide revenue.

“We’re so happy to have jumped from Position Zero to 22nd place in Ad Age’s Gross Income ranking,“ said Florian Haller. “Furthermore, the fact that we’re one of only two German agency networks that have succeeded in entering this ranking makes us proud. Also, looking at the fierce competition, which includes vast global advertising networks and management consultants who are currently penetrating the markets, Serviceplan Group ranking 22 is even more of an achievement.“

Serviceplan Group has consistently occupied the top spot in German Gross Income rankings for many years. Europe’s biggest independent, owner-managed agency group beat the competition with a total of €379 million and a consistent growth of 11.9 percent last year.

Over the past five years, Serviceplan Group has experienced a rapid international growth, a development started in 2006 by Florian Haller, the network’s CEO, and put to work further by Markus Noder, Managing Director of Serviceplan International.

Markus Noder has been in charge of the agency group’s international strategy since 2011, and was recently appointed to Managing Director of the Serviceplan agency holding, leading internationalization endeavours.

As a result of these efforts, the German Serviceplan offices in Munich, Hamburg, Bremen, Berlin, Frankfurt and Cologne have been joined by international “Houses of Communication”, the unique integrated Serviceplan Group model, in; Vienna, Zurich, Milan, Brussels, Dubai, Paris, Lyon and Madrid, as well as setting up branches in Moscow, Kiev, Warsaw, Delhi, Beijing, Shanghai and Seoul. In close cooperation with other partner agencies, Serviceplan Group is represented in the most important economic hubs around the globe. Its close relationship with agency group Unlimited Group represents the Serviceplan Group also in the UK (London). A partnership with agency Ariadna expanded Serviceplan as well to Buenos Aires, Bogota, Lima, Mexico City, Miami, Panama City, Santiago and Sao Paulo.
