SelectHealth, a not-for-profit health plan based in Salt Lake City, has named independent agency Barkley as its lead agency to manage all its lines of business in a multi-year, integrated services relationship. This announcement follows a formal review.
Under the new assignment, Barkley has been tasked with increasing SelectHealth brand awareness in new and existing markets. Barkley will also provide brand positioning strategy, media services, and B2B and B2C communication strategies.
“Barkley has the extensive healthcare experience and deep media and engagement capabilities that are required to communicate with diverse B2C and B2B audiences,” says David Lemperle, vice president and chief sales and marketing officer at SelectHealth.
“At Barkley, we want to work with brands that have the potential to change lives. SelectHealth is committed to creating products and services that benefit the communities they serve,” says Jason Parks, chief growth officer at Barkley.
This is Barkley’s 13th new business win in the past 18 months. Barkley has developed a practice around researching and understanding modern consumers for clients like Planet Fitness, Dairy Queen, Haribo, Winnebago and Terminix.
