Nike Football's NFL campaign, called "Calvin & Johnson,"made its debut this week and over the weekend.
The campaign brings us Calvin Johnson, superhuman wide receiver whose dedication to the game is trumped only by his relentless focus on getting faster. The film series brings his personality to life by creating an alter ego that shoulders the demands, allowing Calvin to stay focused. The films feature Calvin Johnson as “Calvin,” juxtaposed alongside his alter ego, “Johnson,” played by music and entertainment icon Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The first film in the series, entitled “Calvin & Johnson,” debuted Tuesday, Sept. 3. The second film, “Speed Unleashed,” debuted on TV Sunday, Sept. 8. The story will continue through an integrated digital and broadcast series including additional vignettes released throughout the season.
