Scott Powell Joins XenoPsi Ventures

To accommodate its rapid growth in 2023 and to manage accelerated expansion for 2024, brand incubator firm XenoPsi Ventures (XPV), has hired former Nike executive Scott Powell as chief product officer, reporting to founder and chief executive officer MichaelAaron Flicker. 

As chief product officer, Scott will play a crucial role in leading XPV’s go-to-market launch of all new ventures and will lead the product creation for all brands. XPV has several new product launches planned for 2024 that follow the success of its award-winning Wellow Compression socks.

Scott brings a successful track record of creating products with multiple manufacturers and successfully leading brands to XPV’s growing consumer products companies. Beginning his career as an attorney, Scott transitioned from a human resources lawyer at Nike into multiple cross-functional leadership roles throughout his 18 years at the company. His experience as Nike’s global head of raw materials development, sourcing, and procurement prepared him for his next positions as an early executive at hyper-growth direct-to-consumer brands Bark and Away, where he spearheaded strategies that propelled annual revenues from eight to mid-nine figures while leading global teams.
