This viral Ad for Japanese internet service provider NTT Plala has already gained over 1.5 million views on YouTube since being launched last week (19th August).
A typical looking Japanese high-school girl suddenly realizes that she is late for class and decides to take the fastest way up: climbing up the school’s building and into the classroom. The spot illustrates a typical situation among teens nowadays, where you hit a monthly data limit while streaming a cool video. The high school girl is actually pretty popular among mountain climbers around the world: Miwa Oba, a Japan representative of the IFSC Climbing World Cup.
For the shoot, there were no stunt coordinators to help her as she easily climbed up three stories, over 20 times under the blazing sun with only a safety rope.
