School Editing has announced internal promotions involving a trifecta of talent: David Larocque, Taylor McWade, and Genevieve Latour.
David Larocque started at School six years ago, fresh out of Sheridan College. He is an incredibly talented technical editor with extensive knowledge of motion graphics and compositing who also possesses an innate sense of storytelling. This rare combination allows Larocque to bring the offline experience much closer to the final product.
Taylor McWade is being promoted to editor after several years of working closely with editor Izzy Ehrlich. McWade has a keen eye and unique style that combined with an incredible ear for sound design and music, has resulted in some incredibly provocative visual story telling. His recent work for The Sandy Hook Project out of BBDO New York demonstrates his ability to create a rich canvas using images in an unconventional and unexpected manner.
Genevieve Latour is among the rare group of creative people born with the natural ability to edit. Skills like hers cannot be taught, but instead only honed over time. Compassion and humanity are ingrained in everything she touches. Able to edit in English and French, Latour approaches every job with a collaborative spirit and a point of view, essential skills to bring to the edit room.
