The School of Communication Arts has announced its latest webinar, 'How a Year at Ad School Will Change Your Life', featuring talks from the SCA’s Dean, Marc Lewis, school alumni, industry sponsors and mentors, plus a Q&A session with participants. The webinar will focus on the personal experiences of those who have been involved in the school. It will challenge the audience to prepare to take the opportunities that present themselves to them and give them insights that will help them to discover how to succeed as an advertising creative.

Since it opened its doors in 2010, SCA has built a reputation for unearthing industry leading talent and giving them the skills to become serial award winners and to build careers at the most prestigious agencies. That reputation has been forged on the symbiotic relationship, between the school, its students and the industry which it serves. It has also been built on the innovative spirit of the school and its mission to create more opportunities for those who wouldn’t otherwise receive them.

Marc Lewis says: “This is the first time I have ever hosted a webinar with my alumni - which is crazy because I am so proud of them. Just showing them off is enough of a reason to be excited about this webinar. But what excites me even more is knowing that someone watching is likely to end up with a story just as inspiring as those shared by my wonderful students.”
Annie Marsh, JKR’s global director of HR and one of the speakers, adds: “When we started our partnership with SCA back in 2019, I don’t think we quite anticipated the impact it would have on our business. We have been blown away by the raw talent of each and every student, and the fresh thinking and energy they bring to every single brief. It’s invigorating – and we learn as much from them as they do from us. Today is a great opportunity for us to share more on our SCA experience, and inspire others who are setting out on their creative journey.”

It will be hosted on Wednesday 12th August at 3pm BST. Registration is entirely free but places are limited, you can sign up here.
