The Icelandic directing duo first gained interest in film and TV at school and quickly worked their way up the industry ladder gaining experience by working in post production. Together they worked as editors; Samuel online, Gunnar offline on numerous commercials, music videos and feature films handling both production and post which has allowed them to develop a multidimensional approach to filmmaking and great attention to detail in their direction.

 

Their work has gained much acclaim and shows a wide range of well observed and thoughtfully considered work across many genres including comedy, performance, SFX, and visual storytelling for Clients such as; Vodafone, Samsung, Icelandair and Siminn to name a few. The duo have won all the major Icelandic awards for both music videos and commercials including Best TV Ad of the year for the last 3 years and we are delighted they are joining the Thomas Thomas roster.
